An organization called CAUSE was established by four USMA Class of 1967 graduates to assist wounded warriors at Brooke and Walter Reed Army Hospitals.  CAUSE created wish lists on Amazon.com so anyone can donate a specific item for recovering wounded warriors.  Check out the wishlist here and support these fine Americans.

Volunteer at the Charlotte Airport USO

Charlotte Academy grads are invited to visit the Charlotte Airport USO in order to visit with military personnel in transit.  The close proximity of military facilities means lots of military visiting our city.  Help make their short time in Charlotte memorable.  Visit www.uso-nc.org to learn more.  To visit the facility, please contact Captain Jack Ahart, USN (RET) at (704) 359-5581at least 48 hours in advance of your desired visit, in order for him to get you clearance through airport security.  For more information about the Charlotte USO, contact Jack Ahart or Megan Grady by phone or e-mail, j.ahart@uso-nc.org or m.grady@uso-nc.org.
